Technical aspects to consider when designing table calendars
Basically, table calendars are designed to layout 6 months on one side and 6 months on the other side.
This means that the size of the days and months in the calendar is quite small. Therefore, this type of table calendar does not allow writing on it. Usually, next to the 6 months of each side, one or several small-size images are placed along with the company data and logo.
Of course, it is not necessary to place useful information on the base, since it is the side that leans on the table, and therefore is not visible. Does this mean that the base of a table calendar cannot be printed? No, not at all. It can be printed, for example in case the whole calendar has to have a specific background colour. It is just not useful to lay out contents, such as texts and logos, on the base. However, the tab that is glued on the base must not be printed (it must remain blank), in order to guarantee optimum adhesion of the glue.
